The GATA listserve acts as a means for many subscribers to interact in a timely and professional manner without the necessity of a face-to-face meeting. All messages sent, or posted, to the group should be professional in nature and signed with your name and a valid email address.
The GATA listserve is a member benefit and subscription is limited to the email address on file with GATA/NATA. All messages are archived online at the listserve website
. Access to the listserve website is restricted to GATA/NATA members only
. Subscription will be limited to the email address on file with the GATA/NATA database. With an optional Yahoo ID, subscribers can fully access the site archives. Subscribers do not
need a Yahoo email address to receive listserve posts.
The easiest way to join/unjoin the list is to send a blank email to:

Sending/Posting a Message:
To send a message to everyone subscribed to the list, members should address the post to: GATA-LIST@yahoogroups.com
Your message will be sent to everyone on the list, including yourself
. All messages will have a [GATAInfo]
tag automatically placed at the beginning of the subject line. Your message will then be placed in the online message archive. Message attachments are allowed, but will be stored on the listserve archive site rather than passed through the list. A link to the file will be inserted into the post rather than attaching the file itself.
All posts should include contact information--at least your name and email address. All messages should be of a professional nature. No sales or promotional posts will be allowed, although posts promoting seminars, workshops, and other educational meetings will be allowed. Placement vacancy notices (job posting) are allowed as well. Approval of all messages is up to the sole discretion of the listserve moderator.
Replying to a Message:
All emails sent to the listserve address will go to EVERYONE on the list. Replies to messages sent from the list will also go back to EVERYONE. If you need to reply to the sender privately, and not publicly through the entire list, please make note of the sender's address and send the reply to that address.
